Last of the Romantics at Tate

Last of the Romantics at Tate

A new exhibition of British Romantic artists will be unveiled today at Tate Britain in London.

Hosted in nine rooms in the newly opened Clore Galleries, Romantics will display works from Tate’s collections and features over 170 paintings, prints and photographs, including eight rare hand-coloured etchings by William Blake (1757-1827), which had gone missing until they were found in a railway timetable in a box of second-hand books in the 1970s.
