A new pop-up restaurant from restaurateurs Nick Hatsatouris, Nick Mathers and Lincoln Pilcher, the trio behind Eveleigh on Sunset in LA and Kingswood in New York, is far from European shores. This summer, they are bringing their brand of rustic outdoor eating to SoHo in Manhattan this summer.

On West Broadway, the as-yet-unnamed restaurant will be similar in style to their pop-up venture last year, on the waterfront in Montauk, Long Island. Moby Dick’s had a nautical theme – lobster nets, life buoys, twinkling lights – with a Mediterranean menu of local oysters served at the raw bar, fresh and fruity salads of peach and pistachio, lemony spaghetti and simple wood-fired pizzas.

Menus for this summer’s edition at the Soho Grand’s outdoor terrace (pictured) haven’t been finalised, but we do know that there will be a wood-fire oven and a barbecue, and can expect home-brewed spirits and organic wines to be served from midday to midnight.

The pop-up restaurant will open 12pm-12am daily from May-October 2013 at Soho Grand, 310 West Broadway, Manhattan, New York (00 1 212 965 3271;
