Mad Hatters Tea Party returns to The Dorchester

Mad Hatters Tea Party returns to The Dorchester

The Dorchester has come up with a unique treat for parents and children when the London hotel is transformed into a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party for this October’s school half-term.

Young dancers from the English National Ballet will be at the hotel to create the special afternoon tea sittings inpired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice In Wonderland from Monday 25 October to Friday 29 October. While the children are entertained by dancers dressed as famous characters from the well-loved children’s story, parents can sink back into comfy sofas and enjoy their own special afternoon treat.

Dancers will be pirouetting, plie-ing and jete-ing amongst the children, while parents can enjoy the entertainment with a glass of champagne, delicious savoury finger sandwiches, homemade scones and a selection of indulgent cakes and pastries.

Afternoon tea sittings are at 2.15pm and at 4.45pm, and are priced at ?49.00 per adult including a glass of Champagne and ?15.00 for children under seven and ?30.00 for children aged eight to twelve (prices are inclusive of VAT and exclusive of service charge at 12.5%).

For every Children’s Story Time Afternoon Tea that is ordered ?1 will be donated to Cancer Research UK. For reservations, please telephone The Dorchester on +44 (0)20 7629 8888 or email
