Liberatum festival comes to Russia

A host of award-winning authors and fashion designers will be arriving in St Petersburg this November, to attend the upcoming St PetersBall festival in association with Corinthia Hotels.

The festival will also welcome renowned artists from Britain and Russia and cultural icons from around the world, for the series of thought-provoking events, which are free for the public to attend.

Highlights include leading menswear designer Ozwald Boateng, who will be discussing the mysteries of longevity in the fashion industry and London Fashion Week favourite, Roksanda Ilincic will be giving an insight into her creative world.

Set to take place in venues all over the city, such as the Corinthia hotel and the Church of Spilled Blood, the programme promises to be entertaining and enlightening.

“St Petersburg is such an enchanting city with a really magical feel about it. The city’s artistic contributions are vast and I am really delighted to bring together the countries’ leading minds with international artistic personalities,” says Pablo Ganguli, founder and artistic director of Liberatum festivals.

“The St PetersBall programme features an exciting mix of art, literature, film, fashion and dance. We’ll be working with other venues including Rosphoto – the National Centre of Photography, Sheremetyevsky Palace, and the International School of Design.”

As part of the Liberatum festival series, the St PetersBall festival follows the success of the Istancool festival, which took place earlier this year.

St PetersBall takes place 12-14th November. For more information
