Drive this car to the Italian Grand Prix

Fans of Formula One, Ferrari and Italian style may believe that all their Christmases have come at once with the opportunity to drive a Ferrari California and spend the day with the Ferrari team at the Monza Grand Prix next month.

The Seven Stars Galleria hotel in Milan has this very car available for one lucky guest to drive when the Grand Prix comes to Italy next month. But the chance of driving the 196 mph car (which some have hailed as the greatest Ferrari of all time) to the Grand Prix isn’t the only treat in store.

As part of the hotel’s ‘Ferrari VIP’ package, after taking the car to the track and parking in the reserved Ferrari parking space, the driver will have access to the Ferrari Grandstand inside the Monza autodrome. They will have an accompanied trip into the Ferrari garage, and a chance to meet the drivers and technicians of this legendary Grand Prix team.

Then they can take their seats, situated at the start/finish line, and watch the day’s action, before taking their time to drive the Ferrari back to Milan. The package is available for the Friday practice, Saturday’s qualifying day or the race itself on Sunday 9 September.

The Seven Stars Galleria is a seven suite hotel in the Gallery Vittorio Emanuele, which connects Milan’s famous Cathedral Plaza with Piazza della Scala. The high-tech rooms of the hotel contrast sharply with the 19th century Italian architecture they are housed in. Fortunately, the hotel also offers parking for the Ferrari.

The Ferrari VIP package includes one night in a suite at the Seven Stars Galleria, use of the Ferrari California, fuel, parking and track visit, and costs €2,150 on the Friday or Saturday, and €2,850 on race day. For more details visit or email
