A ‘curious’ addition to Amsterdam’s hotel scene

A Curious Group of Hotels is set to open its first boutique hotel in Amsterdam this November. With stylish properties in both Britain and Paris already, the Canal House hotel in Amsterdam looks set to be one of its chicest yet.

Leading design firm, Concrete Architects has created the contemporary and glamorous interior, which has a monochromatic scheme of black, purples, greys and coppers. The look has been completed with a selection of limited-edition artwork on the walls.

Guests at the 23-room hotel can choose from five different bedroom categories – based on size and view – which all offer luxury amenities. Each room also boasts its own open-plan bathroom, which comes with a bathtub and double sinks.

In the evening, guests can relax in the stylish bar and lounge area. But for those who want a more intimate affair, there is a large garden and a garden house, which is ideal for private dining.

Located in the Nine Streets District of Amsterdam, the hotel is in the perfect place for those wishing to experience Amsterdam’s cultural heritage, such as the famous flower market and Anne Frank’s house.

Rooms start from €240. For more information see www.canalhouse.nl
