Dutch design icon comes to London

To coincide with the new Wim Crouwel retrospective, A Graphic Odyssey, at the Design Museum in London, Andaz Liverpool Street has dedicated a room to the renowned graphic designer.

The room features limited edition wallpaper by Cole & Son and a rug by Tai Ping alongside other accessories from the exhibition. Design reflects Crouwel’s use of grid-based layouts and asymmetric visuals, and the colour palette is simple: grey with splashes of red.

In addition, guests receive a specially designed Wim Crouwel room key which they’ll be able to use their room keys to receive complimentary entry to the Design Museum.

Wim Crouwel: A Graphic Odyssey celebrates the long career of the Dutch graphic designer, including key moments such as his work for design practice ‘Total Design’ and the identity for the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam.
