The Terrafugia Transition flying car is to go into production after it was given the all clear by the US Federal Air Authority.

The Transition, which was shortlisted in the 2010 Conde Nast Traveller Innovation and Design Awards, is a two-seater vehicle complete with airbags and roll cage that uses front-wheel drive on roads with its wings folded. (more…)
