London’s buzziest new hotel was a suitable location for last night’s party celebrating the launch of Conde Nast Traveller’s 2011 Hot List. The exclusive gathering was held in the W Lounge at the W Hotel in Leicester Square, and the house was packed with industry leaders keen to raise their glasses (generous G&Ts and champagne cocktails were the order of the evening) to celebrate the world’s best new hotels. The Hot List 2013 revealed

Some of the world’s top hoteliers and travel gurus came to the Cafe Royal hotel on Regent Street last night for the Conde Nast Traveller Hot List 2013 party.

In the hotel’s beautiful Pompadour Suite, party guests raised glasses of Moet to the gilded Louis XIV-style ceilings, which have been painstakingly restored to the standard of the hotel’s heyday when Oscar Wilde, Virginia Woolf and Noel Coward counted among the Royal’s regulars – and we’re sure the conversation was no less sparkling at last night’s party.
